Bolt-on Courses for Coaches
Bolt-on Courses are additional courses that sit side-by-side with coaching courses; they are mandatory courses that need to be attended in order to become - or remain - fully qualified as a coach. Currently, there are two courses that all coaches need to have attended:
- Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop
- First Aid or Emergency Response Course
During the past three years we have run these bolt-on courses alongside each of the Coach Education courses in order to group all of the courses closely together and to make it easy for candidates to find a First Aid or Child Protection course if needed. This was a successful way of running the bolt-on courses and is the same way we will be running the courses for 2009/2010
2009/2010 Bolt Ons
Dates of the 2009/2010 Bolt Ons have now been confirmed and an information pack can be downloaded that contains details of prices and venues of these courses.
For more information on these courses please contact Ali Goddard
Other bolt-on courses that are required for the completion of Clubmark are:
All of these courses we run annually and notify the County Board Contact at each of the clubs. If you would like further information on any of the above then please contact Pete Sykes.
