Coaching Opportunities in Wiltshire

Across Wiltshire coaches are working hard with young players of all ages to promote the game of cricket.  Through their coaching, umpiring and general support, Wiltshire Cricket have a excellent framework within which players at all levels of the game can enjoy the game and improve their skills.

Throughout the winter, Wiltshire Cricket provide opportunities for all coaches to improve their own coaching skills through the delivery of coach education courses:

  • UKCC1 - for beginner coaches and for those parents who would like to support their child's club despite having little or no experience of the game
  • UKCC2 - for more experienced players starting out as coaches and for experienced UKCC1 coaches
  • Coach Development Workshops - for experienced UKCC2 coaches who are looking to expand their knowledge base in the areas of batting, bowling, fielding/wicket keeping, net management, video analysis and team management

All of these courses come together to produce the Wiltshire Cricket Coach Education programme.
