Wiltshire clubs benefit from EWCT Small Grants Scheme

In January 2012, the England and Wales Cricket Trust launched the Small Grants scheme, a funding programme for Clubmark registered or accredited clubs. Wiltshire Cricket Limited was allocated a budget of £8,000 to support clubs through this scheme with an expectation that clubs would find a minimum of 50% partnership funding towards their relevant projects.

Wiltshire Cricket Limited is now pleased to confirm that the following clubs have had their projects approved by Wiltshire Cricket and have received confirmation from the ECB that they will financially support their projects through the EWCT Small Grants Scheme

Applicant Project
Beanacre and Melksham CC Roller
Dinton CC Sightscreens
Purton CC Electronic Scoreboard
Marlborough CC Sightscreens
Spye Park CC Sightscreen
Winterslow CC Gang Mowers
Trowbridge CC Electronic Scoreboard
Redlynch and Hale CC Ball Stop Netting

The level of support that each applicant received was decided by the Wiltshire Cricket Board of Directors and was dependent on a number of factors and criteria including the support that has been received by each club in the past and the availability of partnership funding that was available to each club.

It is important to note that Devizes CC are currently in the process of completing the application process for this year's Small Grants Scheme

Clubs are able to apply to the EWCT Small Grants Scheme every two years. In 2011 the following clubs received funding from the scheme; Corsham, Goatacre, Melksham Town, Potterne, South Wilts, Westbury and District, Winsley.

Congratulations to this year's successful applicants.
