Pre-season meeting
WACO held a successful pre-season meeting at Urchfont Manor. Fifty members attended the meeting on 7 April 2011. The guest speaker was Dr Raj Parsaud who spoke on sports psychology.
Lunch, tea and coffee were provided free of charge by the WACO committee.
NEXT YEAR IT WILL BE AT THE SAME VENUE ON SAT 17 MARCH 2012.
WACO Golf Day
Philip Russell, Mike Cornwell, Barry Stygal & Jim Paget had a very enjoyable day out at Upavon Golf Club on 30th September 2011. The team of four played in a tournament organised by Wiltshire Cricket Limited. On a gloriously sunny day the team managed to finish seventh out of nine. Better luck next time!

Annual Dinner
The first annual dinner of the association was held at The Greyhound, Bromham on 28 October 2011. This was organised by Steve Fortune with guest speaker Neil Shardlow, the Wiltshire county cricket manager entertaining the 31 members and partners that attended. Our thanks to Steve for all his hard work. Everyone was in agreement that the food was high in both quantity and quality. The only disappointing aspect was that the number attending. No doubt when those missing find out how good an evening it was, they will be keen to attend next year.
Below from the left Steve Fortune, Neil Shardlow and Lesley Morgan looking forward to the evening!
