ECB ACO SCORERS LEVEL 1 COURSE
Scorers Course Application Pack
Following on from the successful courses run over the past two years, the Wiltshire Association of Cricket Officials (WACO) is planning to run an ECB ACO Level 1 Scoring course during 2013.
The course will be delivered by qualified ECB ACO instructors and following successful completion of the course will give candidates a formal ECB recognised qualification.
Areas covered on this course will be:
• Role and responabilities of a scorer
• Understanding a scoring record – 10 key areas
• Planning and preparation for a match
• Relevant Laws of Cricket
• Umpire signals
• Scoring symbols
• Practical exercises – ball by ball scoring and balancing the scoring record
• Types of matchees
• Scorers equipment
• Pre-match, match and post-match rituals
The course cost is £80

Level 1 Course
Sundays 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th February and 3rd, 10th March 2013 – 09.00 – 11.30
Venue – Beversbrook Sports Facility, Beversbrook Road, Calne, Wiltshire, SN11 9FL
COST - £80 – Cheques should be made payable to “Wiltshire Cricket Limited”.

Course Rebates from WEPL and SWCCL
Note that all Wiltshire clubs are able to claim a refund from either WEPL or SWCCL for £40 on the completion of the ECB ACO Level 1 course. Candidates are asked to notify the relevant league committees of their completion of the course once certified. Therefore while the initial outlay of the course is £80, the net cost after the rebate is reduced to £40.
