Board of Directors
Chris has been Chairman of Wiltshire Cricket since the old Wiltshire Cricket Board was dissolved in October 2010. Chris has been involved with Wiltshire Cricket for a long time in many different capacities. He is currently also secretary of Wiltshire County Cricket Club.
Chris has been Finance Director since Wiltshire Cricket became incorporated in October 2010, having previously been Treasurer of the old Wiltshire Cricket Board. Chris is also Chairman of the Wiltshire Youth League.
In his professional life, Chris is a chartered accountant having worked for Zurich Financial Services before taking semi retirement in April 2011.
Cricket Development Manager
Pete has been Cricket Development Manager in Wiltshire since February 2009 having previously worked as Cricket Development Officer.
Pete graduated from Exeter University with a degree in Business Economics before heading in to the world of Cricket Development. He is now responsible for leading the Wiltshire Cricket team and ensuring all targets and programmes of work are delivered successfully.
Stephen came on to the Board of Directors in October 2013. His appointment coincided with Wiltshire Cricket reviewing its overall structure with a view to supporting the organisation to achieve all aspects of its Outcomes framework. Stephen's business career has been in finance and operations, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant, and he has been a Finance Director for a number of public companies, as well as a non-executvie Director for a listed company. His current employment is as Group Finance Director for Yattendon Group Plc.
Stephen's cricket involvement in Wiltshire is through being a UKCC2 qualified coach and committee member at Wilcot CC as well as having two sons in the Burbage and ER CC junior section.
Brian was the second addition to the Board of Directors in October 2013. Brian comes from a Forces background where he is currently serving as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army. In this role Brian is responsible, amongst other things, for developing training and education policies, planning and implementing strategic changes programmes, managing the Department budget and performance management and assurance processes.
In the Cricket world Brian is a Level 1 Cricket coach and was previously Club Welfare Officer at South Wilts CC for three years. He is now a member at Potterne CC. Away from cricket, Brian plays representative squash in the Forces.
Robert’s business career has been in both management consulting and engineering. He is professionally qualified as a Chartered Engineer and holds a MBA from Manchester Business School. His current role is with Buro Happold Engineering leading the design of new Cities and City districts worldwide. In this role he focuses on innovation, business case and value chain, sustainable design and the inclusion of technology.
Robert’s cricket involvement in Wiltshire is supporting Winsley CC as a coach (he also has a son training with their U6’s) and he is currently going through UKCC2 qualifications. He has previously represented Norfolk 1st XI at Minor Counties Level and played ECB Premier League cricket for a number of years both in Yorkshire (Sheffield Collegiate CC) and East Anglia (Vauxhall Mallards CC).
