2016 Club Affiliations

We currently have five categories of affiliation which can be found below.

By affiliating to Wiltshire Cricket, your club will be automatically affiliaiated to the ECB and we will collect club contact information for many different roles within your club so that we can keep in touch with important news and information that could benefit your club.

Affiliation categories

Category 0
Non-Wiltshire clubs
- Secondary Affiliation to WCL for participation in WCL Competitions and Leagues.
Fee: £25

CATEGORY 1:
Clubs with no junior sections

- Primary Affiliation to WCL for participation in WCL Competitions and Leagues.
- Primary Affiliation to the England & Wales Cricket Board  (ECB)
- Access to an ECB play-cricket website
- Support from WCL Officers and staff in all areas, including access to face to face meeting if requested
- Membership of Wiltshire Cricket Groundsmans Association with access to Pitch Advisor and Channnel 4 trailer
- Advice on local and national funding opportunities
- Opportunity to nominate club volunteers for recognition via the Natwest OSCAs
- Access to the ECB ‘Safe Hands – Safeguarding Young People in Cricket’ child welfare policy and associated training
- Opportunity to achieve Community Amateur Sports Club status (CASC)
- Ability to apply for work permits for overseas professional players
- Insurance products at discounted rates through Allianz Cornhill via brokers Marshall Wooldridge and Kerry London
- Opportunity to enter ECB Club Competitions including the National Club Championship and the Indoor Six a Side competition
- Access to advice and guidance  from the ECB help desk
- Receipt of all communications from WCL
- Access to Natwest Cricketforce and associated benefits
- Access to courses for coaches, umpires, scorers and groundsmen
- Eligibility for England and Wales Cricket Trust Interest Free Loans and Small Grant Scheme
