Performance Manager and Coach Vacancies with Wiltshire Cricket

Wiltshire Cricket is currently on the lookout for coaches to work with a couple of different age groups on our winter performance programmes, and during the 2018 cricket season.

Details of the roles we are looking to fill can be found below:

South Boys Under 15 Coach

A new venture for this year has seen us launch a new district boys cricket structure. At under 15 level this has seen us move towards a new North versus South structure with the aim being that this will create a really strong and competitive programme to sit just beneath county level.

The North and South under 15 squads (which cover both the under 14 and 15 age groups) will train for 12 weeks during the winter and will then enter in to an Ashes style competition during the 2018 season.

Person requirements:

  • Level 2 coach minimum
  • 1st Aid, Child Protection and DBS qualified within last three years

Role requirements:

  • Winter – Delivery of 12 week coaching programme at Tidworth Leisure Centre, Saturday 6th January to 24th March, 10.30am – 12.30pm
  • Summer – Available for five matchdays on Sundays throughout the season, dates tbc

Remuneration:

  • Winter - Level 2 coaches are paid at £15 per hour + expenses for coaching delivery
  • Summer - travel expenses are covered

County Women’s Manager / Assistant Coach

Wiltshire Cricket is looking for someone to support the new Wiltshire Women’s coach, Josh Boulton with the management of the Wiltshire Women’s team during the summer.

Person requirements:

  • Level 2 coach minimum
  • 1st Aid, Child Protection and DBS qualified within last three years
  • Good administration skills

Role requirements:

  • Available for ten matchdays on Sundays and bank holiday Mondays throughout May, June and July
  • Conduct the administrative duties associated with preparing for match days (e.g. announcing teams) and deal with matchday administrative tasks as well as act as an assistant on the day

Remuneration:

  • Summer - travel expenses are covered
