Reminders for clubs

Fixtures – as in previous years fortnightly fixture blocks have been set up for clubsto arrange the exact dates themselves– these can be evenings, days, weekends, whenever! It is meant as a guide to enable all fixtures to be played. However, if clubs wish to arrange different dates which makes it easier for both teams then please do, there should be plenty of leeway to get all the games in. All we need from clubs is notification of the dates arrange either by updating the play-cricket site or informing competition administrator, Ben White

Rearranging fixtures – we all know the British weather can get in the way but in the spirit of “Get The Game On” please try to re-arrange matches where possible. Also reduced overs matches are encouraged – again where possible.

Personal Performances – as ever we are keen to know about big scores, wickets taken, sixes hit, most golden ducks, crazy fielding etc. So please put these on social media or make a note of the performances when sending me the results.

Social Media – last year twitter was excellent in raising the awareness of the competition and creating a buzz for clubs and players alike. Please keep this going!
