Wiltshire v Oxfordshire at Challow and Childrey CC - 12-14th June 2011

Opener bowlers delighted with debuts
Wiltshire's two debutant opening bowlers, Simon Rose and Tahir Afridi, bowled well in the conditions after rain had wiped out Day 1 of the first Championship match of the season versus Oxfordshire at Challow and Childrey. Oxfordshire who at one stage were 42 for 5 wickets, managed to recover to 150 all out, Opening bowler Rose finished with 5 for 40 and Afridi 5 for 57. Wiltshire hit back through Ed Kilbee 60, and Henry Langford 46 with 223 in their first innings. However, due to the time lost on the first day the match ended in a draw as Oxfordshire posted 220-4 at stumps.
