Wiltshire began their preparations for the 2018 season with a comfortable 8 wicket win over Frocester C C last Saturday.  In a match reduced to 38 overs a side, Frocester scored 116 for 8 wickets, with 3 wickets for Tom Grant and 2 each for Jake Roberts and Tom Wallbridge.  Wiltshire reached their target with nearly 20 overs to spare for the loss of 2 wickets. (Tom Grant 64 not out).

Next Sunday April 29th, Wiltshire commence their competitive programme with the 1st round match in the Unicorns 50 over Knock Out trophy against Wales at Warminster starting at 11.30am. The match was scheduled for Swindon C C but had to be moved to Warminster as heavy rain over the past few weeks had left the Swindon ground unfit.
