Wiltshire Cricket Grounds Association Purpose and Functions

Many of you will be aware that within Wiltshire we are very fortunate to have a Grounds Association that meets regularly and exists to provide support to clubs across the county across many areas of grounds keeping. The Wiltshire Cricket Grounds Association (WCGA) committee meets approximately 8 times a year and supporting the committee we also have a County Pitch Advisor, Richard Mosdell as well as the support of the GMA via Phil Jeggo, our Regional Pitch Advisor.

Over recent months, the WCGA has spent some time, with the support of the ECB and the GMA, to revisit its purpose, aims and functions with a view to providing a renewed focus for the Association and to help shape the areas of work that the Association looks to focus on.

With the above in mind, we are pleased to share the new Purpose of the Wiltshire Cricket Grounds Association

Additionally, many clubs may not be aware that as part of your affiliation to Wiltshire Cricket this also includes affiliation to the WCGA. Therefore, the attached document also looks to provide clarity on what you can expect to get for your affiliation.

If any of you have any questions on this or would like to contact the WCGA, please reach out to the WCGA Chair, Paul Jackson:
