Junior Cricket
The Wiltshire Youth Cricket League was originally introduced in 2000 to provide youth cricket across the county. Wiltshire Cricket took over the running and management in late 2025 from the hard-working volunteer committee, who had dedicated over 25 years to the league.
At Wiltshire Cricket we are passionate about inspiring a lifelong love and involvement in Cricket. For children, this involvement can begin from 5 years old via All Stars Cricket all the way to the U19s T20 Competition. At Wiltshire Cricket we work closely with our affiliated cricket clubs to support them with their junior sections and provide a huge range of leagues and competitions to suit all ages, ability and skill level.
Clubs can enter leagues at U9, U10, U11, U13, U15, U17 and U19 age groups which include performance and development leagues to offer an appropriate level for a wider range of clubs. These leagues have been carefully structured following direct feedback from our clubs, and each has its own set of ethos and values.
The Wiltshire Youth Cricket League boasts over 38 clubs taking part in regular cricket which equates to over 400 young players.
In addition, Wiltshire Cricket also manages and provide additional cup competitions for clubs such as the U13 & U15 Vitality Knockout Cup and U9 Festivals.
