Wiltshire Cricket welcomes Aled Evans to the Development team

Wiltshire Cricket Limited is delighted to welcome Aled Evans to the development team in the role of Community Coach / All Stars Champion. Aled's appointment comes as Josh Boulton leaves the team to train to become a Primary School teacher. Josh will leave behind a great legacy, having been a driving force in recent years behind the successful All Stars programme. We wish Josh the very best and will miss the passion, professionalism and personality that he has brought to the team for the past six years.

Aled comes in to the role with great experience from the world of coaching; he has been part of a coaching company since graduating in 2017 with a degree in BSc Sport & Physical Education and therefore brings a great degree of experience from working in local schools; something that will be a big part of the role.

As a Community Coach, Aled's role will mean delivering a large bulk of Wiltshire's Chance to Shine programme. As All Stars Champion, Aled will the lead the county's All Stars programme; including delivering promotional sessions in schools, Activator training, liaising with clubs and supporting with all things All Stars Cricket in Wiltshire.

Aled is a local person, having played at Biddestone CC from being junior and more recently becoming an integral part of their junior coaching team.

We are sure that Aled will hit the ground running and we wish him the very best for his future with Wiltshire Cricket.
