The Return of Recreational Cricket - Important Updates to Guidance

Wiltshire Cricket hopes that everyone has had an enjoyable first week since the recreational game returned last Saturday, 11th July.

During the course of this week the ECB has made some amendments to the Return to Play Guidance. Please find the latest version of the guidance attached.

The most important things to note are as follows:

Group sizes for junior cricket and net training - Following a change to Government guidance, to support social distancing, junior cricket training sessions must be split into groups of up to 15 children (however full 11-a-side matches can occur if social distancing is maintained).

Adjacent Nets - Adjacent nets are now able to be used provided social distancing and COVID-19 mitigation steps are taken as outlined previously.

To reflect the changes above, please also see attached an updated infographic on the playing plan summary.

Best wishes to everyone playing this weekend
