Wiltshire Wallop 2021 Quarter-Final Line Up confirmed!

We are pleased to confirm that all Wiltshire Wallop groups are now concluded and the quarter-finals look as follows:

Wiltshire Wallop Group A:

  1. Swindon CC – Qualify for home Q/F
  2. Goatacre CC – Qualify for away Q/F
  3. Burbage and ER CC – Qualify for home plate Q/F
  4. Royal Wootton Bassett CC – Qualify for away plate Q/F

Wiltshire Wallop Group B:

  1. Corsham CC – Qualify for home Q/F
  2. Chippenham CC – Qualify for away Q/F
  3. Biddestone CC – Qualify for home plate Q/F
  4. Bear Flat CC – Qualify for away plate Q/F (*However, Bear Flat CC do not wish to continue in the competition so their place in plate Q/F will be replaced by 5th placed team in Group C)

Wiltshire Wallop Group C:

  1. Potterne CC – Qualify for home Q/F
  2. Bishops Cannings CC – Qualify for away Q/F
  3. Shrewton CC – Qualify for home plate Q/F
  4. Devizes CC – Qualify for away plate Q/F
  5. Fonthill Park CC – Qualify for away plate Q/F (taking place of Bear Flat CC – see Group B above)

Wiltshire Wallop Group D:

  1. Trowbridge CC – Qualify for home Q/F
  2. Westbury CC – Qualify for away Q/F
  3. Winsley CC – Qualify for home plate Q/F
  4. Warminster CC – Qualify for away plate Q/F

Wiltshire Wallop 2021 Quarter-Final Draw:

A random draw has now taken place today involving a Wiltshire Cricket Board member drawing the teams, and we can confirm the following quarter-finals:

Wiltshire Wallop Quarter-Finals:

  • Potterne v Goatacre
  • Swindon v Westbury
  • Corsham v Bishops Cannings
  • Trowbridge v Chippenham

Wiltshire Wallop Plate Quarter-Finals:

  • Shrewton v Royal Wootton Bassett
  • Biddestone v Fonthill Park
  • Burbage v Warminster
  • Winsley v Devizes

Fixtures will be played during weeks commencing 2nd or 9th August.

Finals:

A reminder of the following:

  • Cup final – Confirmation that this is scheduled to take place at last year’s Wallop winners, Corsham CC on Sunday 22nd August
  • Plate final – Once the Plate finalists are confirmed we will work with one of the four qualifying teams to agree a date/venue for this event
