Wiltshire Cricket Bite Size Training - End of Season Renovation of a Cricket Square
The Wiltshire Cricket Grounds Association (WCGA) is currently in the midst of its end of season renovations for clubs across the county. For 2021, the WCGA has organised a couple of training opportunities to run alongside these renovations.
These training events are free and are available to anybody regardless of experience who has an interest in grounds maintenance.
This training will give an opportunity to find out about, understand and gain hands on experience of renovating a cricket square and will take you through the following:
- why end of season renovations are important
- how the renovations are done
- what maintenance is required through the Autumn and Winter
There are two opportunities available for this training in 2021:

We are very conscious that for 2021 these events have been arranged at very short notice, so apologies for this. However, we hope that if feedback on the principle of the events is positive, that we will be able to organise more events, with a greater notice period, for 2022.
