Congratulations to Wiltshire clubs that have achieved Clubmark re-accreditation!

ECB Clubmark is an accreditation scheme for cricket clubs shows that a club is sustainable, well run and provides the right environment for its members. Clubmark accreditation also means your club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages, as well as assuring parents and carers that they are choosing the right option for their young people.

For 2021, Clubmark re-accreditation has looked slightly different for cricket clubs with the requirement having been for clubs to evidence they are meeting the required safeguarding standards via the new Safe Hands Management System. Clubs were required to be compliant on SHMS by 31st July 2021.

The ECB Safe Hands Management System (SHMS) is a system that supports clubs with ensuring individuals and volunteers have valid qualifications for their roles. Through the system, clubs are required to register the details of individuals in key roles and the system then checks to ensure they have the correct and up todate safeguarding qualifications for their roles.

With this being year one of the new system, there has been significant work put in by all Clubmark clubs to achieve compliancy with the new system and on that note Wiltshire Cricket would like to thank and congratulate the following clubs on their work and on achieving Clubmark re-accreditation:
