Wiltshire Cricket is delighted to welcome Josh May to the Wiltshire Cricket Development Team
Wiltshire Cricket is delighted to announce the appointment of Josh May as the county's new Disability Development Officer. Josh will join the Wiltshire Cricket Development Team from May 2024 and will fill the role that has been vacant since Harry Mattingley left the role in August 2023.
In the role of Disability Development Officer, Josh will lead on the management and delivery of our Lord's Taverners Disability programmes, specifically our Super 1s hubs and our Table Cricket programme. The role will also oversee other disability initiatives including our Disability Schools Cricket Programme delivery (table cricket & soft ball), ECB Champion clubs and the disability pathway; all of which directly contribute to the disability strategy of the ECB / Lord’s Taverners partnership.
Josh will join the Development Team following the completion of his studies at Solent University where he is completing a Degree in Sports Coaching. Josh's official start date with Wiltshire Cricket is 13th May 2024. During his time at Solent University Josh has developed some experience of working with the Lord's Taverners through delivery on the Hampshire Cricket Board Wicketz programme. In addition to this, Josh has more recently worked with Wiltshire Cricket on our Talent Pathway programmes.
We are delighted to welcome Josh to the Wiltshire Cricket team and look forward to seeing Disability Cricket thrive through Josh's work.
