Wiltshire CCC win their opening knockout match in Unicorns Trophy!

Wiltshire won their 1st round match in the Unicorns 50 over Knock Out Cup when they beat Wales at Warminster on Sunday by 2 wickets.  They will now play Devon in the 2nd round at Sidmouth on Sunday May 20th.

Ed Young won the toss and asked Wales to bat and they scored 212 for 7 wickets in their 50 overs with Brad Wadland scoring 67 and Joe Voke 45.  In reply Wiltshire reached their target with 1 over to spare scoring 213 for 8 wickets.  Uzi Qureshi scored 80, Tom Morton 30, Jake Lintott 29 and Ashur Morrison 34.

Wiltshire's next match is their first in the new Unicorns T20 competition on Sunday May 6th  against Dorset at Bashley Cricket Club.  They will play 2 T20 matches on the day the first starting at 11.00am and the second after the interval at about 2.30pm.
