ECB Advanced Coach (formerly Level 3) - Now open for applications

The new ECB Advanced Coach course replaces the previous Level 3 Performance Coach course. Previously, candidates wanting to attend the Level 3 course had to be working in a performance (county age group) environment in order to access the course. This is now no longer the case meaning anyone can now apply to attend the ECB Advanced Coach course, providing they possess the adequate qualifications to do so, i.e. a Level 2 coaching qualification.

This change provides the opportunity for coaches working in any environment to become a specialist within their chosen field, as opposed to the previous Level 3 which focused very much on Talent pathway coaching.

Please be aware that the course costs have increased considerably since it has become the ECB Advanced Coach course, mainly because the ECB are no longer centrally subsidising the Level 3 qualification. As a result of the new course and the removal of central subsidies the ECB will be running more Level 3 courses in order to make the course more accessible than previously.
