Wiltshire Cricket launches series of Grassroots Cricket events!
During November, Wiltshire Cricket will be running a series of events to say thank you to the many volunteers who make the recreational game the success that it is.
Grassroots Cricket is hugely reliant on a vibrant volunteer network, and over the past 18 months this network has been challenged more than ever before as collectively we have tackled the many challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the past 18 months has also highlighted the strength and resilience of the recreational game as we have emerged with participation numbers high and with reputations enhanced across many areas of the recreational game.
Linked with the ECB's Grassroots Cricket Awards, during November Wiltshire Cricket has identified a number of volunteer groups that it would like to say thank you to, and as a result will be running the following thank you events:

These events will be informal with drinks receptions and nibbles. They will provide an opportunity for us to say thank you and for us all to reflect on the many contributions and successes from the 2021 season. During the course of the events we will also be announcing the 2021 Grassroots Cricket Award winners.
