Wiltshire Cricket welcomes Vickie Hathway as a permanent member of the Wiltshire Cricket Development team

We are delighted to announce a further addition to our development team as Vickie Hathway joins in the permanent role of Community Coach.

Vickie has been a committed and long standing Chance to Shine Coach for Wiltshire Cricket for a number of years but now joins the team on a permanent basis from July 2022. This role sees Vickie contracted for 25 hours a week to deliver on Wiltshire Cricket school and community programmes, as well as holiday camp initiatives.

Outside of her contracted hours Vickie will also continue to support Wiltshire Cricket with a number of other programmes and initiatives, including delivery on our hugely successful Super 1s programmes and within our Talent Pathway structure.

Speaking of the appointment, Managing Director, Peter Sykes said: "Following the recent appointment of Lauren Shrubsole to the position of Participation and Growth Officer, and now the successful appointment of Vickie, we are delighted to see our development team continue to grow. This growth is a reflection of the increasing breadth of work for which we are now responsible and the subsequent need for us to have high quality deliverers to bring those programmes of work to life. As we look ahead to the 2022-2023 academic year we will be delivering a broader range of programmes  in school and community settings than we have ever done previously and so these two excellent appointments will help to prepare us for another huge year for Wiltshire Cricket.

Away from work Vickie is a committed cricketer in her own right, currently playing for Chippenham CC Women's teams. We wish Vickie every success in this new position and are delighted to have her as part of our Development team.
