Swindon CC win 2025 Under 19 T20 competition!
Burbage and Easton Royal CC played host to the 2025 Under 19 T20 Finals Day with Swindon CC coming out as victors, following a 34 run victory over Avebury CC in the final!
The Under 19 T20 competition, supported by our sponsors Wiltshire Queries, saw 14 clubs compete across three group stages:
Following these group stages, 8 teams progressed to quarter-final stage:
Swindon beat Goatacre by 9 wickets
Burbage and ER beat South Wilts by 7 wickets
Avebury beat Potterne by 2 runs
Winsley beat Royal Wootton Bassett by 5 runs
All of the above led to our finals day, staged at 2024 winners Burbage and Easton Royal CC.
Semi-Final 1 - Swindon v Burbage and ER
In a rain affected day, Swindon batted first and managed to reach 94-8 from 15 overs with Jacob Hobson top scoring on 15. For Burbage, Jonny Sadler took 3-18 and Charlie Carroll 2-20.
In reply, Burbage were set 105 to win thanks to DLS and fell agonisingly 4 runs short on 101-7 with Niaz Shinwari taking 3-27 and Charlie Bevan 2-15.

Semi-Final 2 - Avebury v Winsley
In the second semi-final, Winsley batted frist and posted a competitive 126-5 from their 15 overs with Freddie Richards scoring 53 retired and Elise Haines taking 3-24.
In their chase, Avebury were led by Will Miller with 50 retired and Tom King with 36 to reach their target for the loss of 4 wickets with 9 balls to spare.

Final - Swindon v Avebury
The final of our 2025 Under 19 T20 competition saw Swindon bat first. Seniru Fernando led the way with 38, ably supported by Charlie Hallsworth with 25 not out. For Avebury, Savin Bamunugama took 3-12 and Zak Collister 2-25.
In reply, Seniru Fernando (2-14) and Niaz Shinwari (3-3) helped lead Swindon to a comfortable 34 run victory.
