Under 9s Cricket in 2025 - End of Season Summary
This article summarises the collective achievements of clubs that supported Under 9s Cricket in 2025. As we have done for the past couple of years, this also involves summarising the leading clubs in terms of matches played in 2025.
Before we summarise the 2025 Under 9s activity Wiltshire Cricket would like to take this opportunity to thank all clubs for your support with regards Under 9s Cricket in 2025. For all clubs offering cricket at this age group you are doing a great job for your young cricketers and more broadly you are ensuring that we are capitalising on the numbers of children that are emerging from the hugely successful All Stars programmes of recent years. On that note, All Stars recorded its most successful year ever in Wiltshire in 2025, with 1254 children registering for the programme across Wiltshire.
Under 9s Cricket Data
As many of clubs will be aware, Wiltshire Cricket attempts throughout the season to collect details of the Under 9s festivals that take place. These festivals are stored here; https://wiltsclubcomps.play-cricket.com/Competitions
We also then link all of the individual festivals in to a master Under 9s division, which can be viewed here; https://wiltsclubcomps.play-cricket.com/website/division/132349

League Table for Under 9s matches played in 2025
As has been stressed previously, our main focus at Under 9s has not been on wins and losses but is more about opportunities provided. There are lots of ways of measuring opportunity and we are very aware that at Under 9s there will be lots of coaching sessions and intra club matches that are also providing invaluable opportunities for our young cricketers. However, based on the festival and inter club fixture information that has been sent to Wiltshire Cricket, we have combined all of those matches in to an overall Under 9s division that can be viewed here; https://wiltsclubcomps.play-cricket.com/website/division/132349
By our calculations, by combining the matches played by each club, it results in the following league table for Under 9s in 2025:
