Wiltshire Cricket launches Super 9s programme
We’re pleased to share some exciting news: the Wiltshire Cricket Talent Pathway is expanding. We are delighted to announce that a Disability Super 9s team will be joining the programme.
What is Super 9s?
Super 9s is an entry-level softball cricket format for players with disabilities, similar to Super 1s. It acts as a pathway into more advanced competition within the national disability cricket structure in England. The programme focuses on developing and applying core cricket skills in a fun, inclusive, and competitive environment, with sessions and matches often using a pairs-based format to encourage maximum participation.
When is the Open Trial?
The open trial will take place on Sunday 11 January at Calne Leisure Centre, from 15:00–16:30.
Who Can Register?
Anyone with a disability is welcome to register.
Players selected for the Super 9s Pathway Squad will train weekly from 18 January, at Calne Leisure Centre, 15:00–16:30, for a 10-week block.
During the summer, the squad will also take part in fixtures against other counties.
