Wiltshire Cricket Grounds Association Workshop - PITCH PREPARATION AND RECOVERY - Monday 18th May 2026

Following two very successful online workshops delivered during the winter, the Wiltshire Cricket Grounds Association in association with Wiltshire Cricket are delighted to be running a FREE and IN PERSON workshop for grounds volunteers in cricket clubs on the subject of PITCH PREPARATION AND RECOVERY.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

TIME: 6.30pm – 8.30pm

VENUE: Corsham Cricket Club, Station Road, Corsham, Wiltshire, SN13 9EU

WHAT WILL BE COVERED:

During this workshop, Wiltshire Cricket’s Pitch Advisors, Richard Mosdell and Paul Jackson, will provide guidance and education on the following subjects:

  • Maintaining your Square
  • Preparing for Play
  • Preparing Tracks for Play – the three phases
  • How best to use your covers / sheets
  • Re-using tracks – cleaning up, foot holes etc
  • Repairing tracks for future usage
