Wiltshire Cricket launches first ever Young Cricket Collective training programme!

Wiltshire Cricket is delighted to launch our first ever ECB Young Cricket Collective (YCC) 2026 programme.

The Young Cricket Collective is a national ECB initiative designed to help young people develop leadership, volunteering, officiating, and coaching skills while making a positive impact within their cricket clubs and local communities. Participants will complete training modules covering:

  • Young Activator
  • Young Official
  • Young Club Leader

The programme provides an excellent opportunity to build confidence, gain valuable experience, meet other young cricket enthusiasts, and contribute to the future of the game.

Programme information: 

Date - Monday 3rd August

Time - 9am - 3pm

Venue - Marlborough Cricket Club

Programme Cost: £20 per participant

The fee includes:

  • Full Young Cricket Collective training sessions
  • ECB Young Cricket Collective kit and merchandise
  • Programme resources and materials
  • Certificate of completion
  • Access to future volunteering opportunities within cricket

The Young Cricket Collective is ideal for any young person who enjoys cricket and would like to develop leadership skills, support their club, and become part of the next generation of cricket volunteers.
