Potterne CC win U13 Vitality Cup Final

Marlborough College provided the perfect venue for the Under 13 Vitality Cup final which saw Winsley take on Potterne. Captain Luca Bayes won the toss for Potterne and choose to bat. Winsley's Marco Scolio took 2 early wickets leaving Eli Hambly to rebuild the innings. Hambly and Joe Gaiger both retired not out at 30, with Potterne ended their innings with 117 on the board.

Winsley's batters started well and built a solid foundation with the first wicket falling in the 4th over. Scolio made a quick 26 but fell in the 9th over. Despite a stand from D Sparrowhawk (19), Winsley fell short making 100 in their 20 overs.

The game was played with fantastic sportsmanship and both sides showed the talent that is coming through the Wiltshire Clubs. Potterne now go on to face the winner from Gloucestershire, Cheltenham CC, on Sunday 26th July.
