Wiltshire Wallop 2020 finalists confirmed!
On Sunday 6th September, Shrewton CC will take on Corsham CC in the Final of the revised Wiltshire Wallop 2020 competition.
Following completion of group stages the semi-finals took place last week, with the outcomes as follows:
Corsham CC beat Potterne CC in a bowl off
Shrewton CC beat Swindon CC by 25 runs
What this means is that Shrewton will take on Corsham in the Final on Sunday 6th September. After winning a coin toss Shrewton will host the match at 2pm.
Who will take the trophy? Corsham CC have won the competition twice in the past, in 2016 and 2017 whereas Shrewton CC have never won it. However, they were runners up in last year's competition!
