Coaches: Vickie, Thea, Ali

Travel:

The Cricket team and parents left from Swindon Cricket Club bright and early at 8:30am heading off to Bristol for a 10am start at Bristol City Academy.

Game 1: Win

We played Gloucester B and a great team performance in the field with Isaac getting 2 run outs  & some big hitting from Arthur saw us win the game comfortably.

Game 2: Loss

Next up was Gloucester A & we came up against some older more experienced players but despite that we put up a valiant fight only narrowly losing despite some excellent bowling & fielding.

Lunch:

During the lunch break the excitement increased for everyone when it was announced that the ice cream van had arrived & that everyone would get free ice cream.

Game 3/4: Win

After the break we played both Somerset teams & the Children were brilliant, the batting, bowling & fielding were excellent & the team spirit was exceptional. We won both games finishing the day with 3 wins out of 4 & securing the runners up spot.

Coaches Feedback:

Our team of 9 played brilliantly, with 3 members of the team being Under 8 and came to each game even stronger than the last! 3 wins out of 4 games is an incredible achievement well done team!

Well done to Arthur, Isaac, Mahir, Josiah, Clark, Oscar, Wilber, Asmara & Yonit you were all superb & represented Wiltshire Cricket brilliantly.
