FAO Cricket Clubs: National Programmes - Set up your programmes now!
2025 was a record breaking year for National Youth Programmes in Wiltshire. During the summer we saw over 1250 children register for All Stars Cricket and 600 children register for Dynamos Cricket … amazing numbers that are helping to lay brilliant foundations for junior cricket across the whole of Wiltshire!
GETTING READY FOR 2026!
Below is an indication of the timeframes for when registration opportunities will open for 2026 participants. It will be crucial that as many Wiltshire Cricket programmes are set up and ready to receive registrations before these dates:
The following information is for Cricket Clubs who need guidance and support on getting ready for 2026:
Please login to Clubspark- https://ecb.clubspark.uk/admin . You will then need to complete your ‘Organisation Checklist’, this includes:
- Register your Club – This is a simple tick box exercise. In registering you will need to confirm the following:
-
- A whole centre commitment to providing a brilliant first experience for All Stars and Dynamos kids
- An in-date insurance policy that includes £5 million public liability including volunteer cover and £10 million employee liability
- A Club Safeguarding Officer who has undertaken ECB's Safe Hands training
- A trained First Aider on site
- An accredited All Stars Cricket or Dynamos Cricket Activator to lead sessions
-
- Connect a Stripe Account – Add or confirm your club bank details so payments can hit the account when people signup. Most clubs who were registered in 2025 should already be connected to a Stripe account
- Safeguarding – Upload club CSO Safe Hands certificate, this must be in date (3-year expiration). There is an option for you to add a play-cricket ID here. If you scroll to the very bottom right hand corner of your club’s play-cricket website you will find your club’s site ID
- First Aid – Upload a First Aid certificate of someone who will be onsite for sessions, this must be in date (3-year expiration). This can be a course attended through an employer, it doesn’t have to be from one of our courses.
- Liability Insurance – All we need to see is that your club has £5,000,000 Public and £10,000,000 Employers Liability cover. If your certificate is due to expire before the start of your programme please don’t worry, just upload it for now.
- Key Club Contact – Please ensure this contact is correct as they will receive all updates and key information. They will also be the public facing contact when people are looking to sign up to programmes.
- Add Activators – If you wish to add activators to your club, you can do this by clicking on “Coaching Team” and then “Add coach”. Once an activator has been added they will need to have completed:
-
- An ECB DBS
- Attended Face to Face Activator training
- Completed E-learning associated with Activator training
- Completed online Safeguarding training
-
Once clubs have completed their checklists, they will come through to Wiltshire Cricket via my colleague, Aled Evans, for us to approve your checklist. Clubs will need to have fully approved checklists in order for programmes to go live once ECB launch participant registration later this Spring.
