ECB Emergency Support for Clubs and Leagues

January 2021 - Financial assistance is available to help Cricket Clubs and Leagues. Changes to the Return to Cricket Grant Scheme made in July included the removal of the recommended turnover limit, and differentiation in grant level between clubs with junior sections and adult only clubs.

Applications for the ‘Return to Cricket Grant Scheme’ have been extended until 15 March 2021.

The ‘Emergency Loan Scheme’ for both Clubs and Leagues has increased the maximum amount that can be loaned and ECB has extended the scheme to run indefinitely and provide longer-term sustainable support.

July 2020 - Important changes have been made to the Emergency Funding schemes that have been available to clubs since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic; Emergency Loan Scheme and Return to Cricket Grant Scheme.

Emergency Support Programmes for Clubs – Headline Summary:

With many government funding sources concluding, ECB is extending the Return to Cricket Grant Scheme until December 2020.

The differential funding level between clubs with junior sections and adult only clubs and the recommended £15,000 turnover limit have been removed.

In addition, the Emergency Loan Scheme has increased the amounts that can be loaned and the scheme will be open indefinitely. The scheme may be particularly useful if clubs require support over the winter period and provides longer term sustainable support.
