Government Financial Packages - Small Business Grant Fund

About the Small Business Grant Fund:

The government are providing a Small Business Grant to support small businesses, including cricket clubs with a one-off grant of £10,000.

The government will provide additional Small Business Grant Scheme funding for local authorities to support small businesses, including cricket clubs that already pay little or no business rates because of small business rate relief (SBRR), rural rate relief (RRR) and tapered relief. This will provide a one-off grant of £10,000 to eligible cricket clubs to help meet their ongoing running costs.

Eligibility:

You are eligible if:

Apply through your Local Authority:

Different Local Authorities are operating the scheme in different ways across the country, ranging from automatically awarding grants, to writing to potentially eligible organisations. With regards the two Local Authorities in Wiltshire, please see links below for making applications:

It is Wiltshire Cricket’s understanding that both Local Authorities above are writing to organisations that they think qualify. However, if you have not received a letter but think you qualify then you can still make an application.
